It went out appropriately, on a flaming trainwreck of high camp. The show was never based in any sort of reality, nor did it take itself too seriously (unlike the unwatchable Vampire Diaries). I miss GG already :(

I assure you, if you like the current incarnation, you will LOVE the classic 80s stuff. Between that and Claremont's X-Men, I was beautifully warped from the get-go.
