It's a solid series all around. Nothing spectacular animation wise more often than not but it's entertaining and unlike Seth MacFarlane's other programs generally has actual character development.

I like the episode where they roast Roger. Another good one is the one where Roger tries to steal the wine from Greg and Terry. Also, the Halloween episode with the haunted house and the one where Roger pretends to be Jewish to get a blender.

Agreed. It's far more subtle than Family Guy and lacks the "variety show" angle which makes it better. It's more like a parody of all those family sitcoms from the 90's and early 00's. It's very clever.

I love the one where Stan is trying to take Jeff back to Florida and Roger is dressed as Dog The Bounty Hunter. That's also the episode where Steve believes he has "The Gift".

Genie Gold! American Dad really does not get the credit it deserves. It is MUCH better than Family Guy.
