Just a quick question: Can I still read the Amazing Spider-Man #700 if I have not read any before that specific issue? It's just...I really want to see how this series ends, yet I want it to be the only Spider-Man issue for me to own! Ty.

It shouldn't be a problem. It won't be hard to fill in the blanks, though I would try and pick up 698 and 699 too if you can (at least read them if possible).
Why should I want to make anything up? Life's bad enough as it is without trying to invent any more of it.

My freaking cat knows what happens in Amazing Spider-Man #700 (and she don't like or read any comic books)

And no, she is not telling also.

Guess I will have to wait until Wednesday to find out the big secret

There's a synopsis in the front that'll give you the back story, but you likely already know the basics: Doc Ock switches bodies with Peter Parker. Doc's body is dying with Peter's mind in it. Doc is living a new life as Spider-man and Peter Parker.

Yes, you can. I recommend also picking up Avenging Spider-Man #15.1 also if you are interested in Superior.

BUMP: Per Dan Slott's twitter: "Doing a bunch of interviews. Fair warning, if you've avoided ASM 700 spoilers so far (kudos 2U!) get off the internet tomorrow night (25th)."

Guessing tonight we will see the press go insane about this.

We can't. It was out here in the Philippines last night, but we have to wait for 10 AM Eastern (11 PM for me and past midnight for you) for spoilers.
