Yeah, that definitely sucks for them, but I very much appreciate what they're doing. Everywhere on the internet I go, I'm being extremely careful not to spoil anything. And I feel like reading Reddit is just a ticking time bomb (maybe because it is?)...an internet blackout may have to happen soon.

LOL, the selfish part of me just says ban the entire Spiderman forum until the issue comes out. Thats not logical I suppose so I'd assume the mods would know who the likely subjects would be to spoil the material. The "I can't believe" or "Marvel made" type of sentences are dead giveaways.

None of this is possible so hopefully you mods aren't ruined by the experience.

Discussing spoilers for said issue more than a week before the official release is in poor form for a community-oriented board like CBR which toes the line on release dates. If people really chose not to wait and want to discuss it, there are other places on the Internet where it can be done privately that those who will wait for December 26 will avoid. Honestly, I hope this is the last time this is mentioned. We've got more than a week and infinitum queries for spoiler threads will grow old, fast.

Can you legally obtain a copy of the issue? If you cant then you cant discuss it.

If you can't follow the rules, then just go elsewhere. There are dozens of other boards discussing the issue. If you like CBR as much as I do, just don't talk about what you've seen or heard. I do enjoy the debate about the validity of spoilers though, just without details.
