Wells Re-Teams With Madureira On Un-Named Marvel Book

In an interview with SPINOFF ONLINE, writer Zeb Wells revealed his involvement with a Marvel book drawn by Wells' "Avenging Spider-Man" partner Joe Madureira and edited by Steve Wacker.

Can't might want to fact check their own site. It was on an axel-in-charge/ cup o'koe whatever last spring we learned this was supposed to be joe mad's second avenging arc but time and circumstance pushed the spidey/elektra/wolverine team-up to its own thing

Nothing Joe Mad seems to work on since his BATTLECHASERS days ever comes out on a timely basis. Just give the guy an out-of-continuity graphic novel/one-shot to do and let that be the end of it...

Yeah this a non story. We have all known for months that this project was meant to be the second arc of Avenging Spider Man and it was CBR themselves that reported it!

I really enjoy Joe Mad's style. Hopefully, they get enough issues in the can before solicitation that it can ship in a timely fashion.

While I am always up for new Joe Mad stuff, I thought the work that came out for Avenging Spider-Man #1 wasn't that great. Maybe they didn't have a proper inker. Maybe it was the colourist. I dunno, but I know Joe Mad's pages didn't pop like back in the days of Uncanny or Battle Chasers.

They should give Joe Mad something he hasn't done yet in terms of charcters. Thor would be a great one. Other than a couple issues of the X-men where the Avengers showed up, he hasn't drawn much Thor. If you've seen Battlechasers, you know how cool it would be.

I know right? I can't wait until we finally, actually get some info on this project. It seems like it's been close to a year since it was first announced as just a team-up issue or two of Avenging Spider-Man.

There wasn't a inker for his Avenging Spidey issues, it went from his pencils to being colored
