Glados doesn't mean anything to me. I only played Half Life 1 a little bit.
Now, if it were KITT's voice I would mark out.

I'd prefer K.A.R.R.'s voice.![]()
I'll be honest, when people started throwing out "rocket punch", I thought I'd see a classic Japanese super robot rocket arm flying down a street to punch through a monster in the best tradition of Mazinger and Gaiking. So I was disappointed to see it was actually closer to the piston driven punch Big O uses. Not quite as cool, but the trailer provided many, many cool things to be excited about. I'm excited about this movie.
What a week for new trailers. Supes was good, I really liked the new Stark Trek one but this tops the list. Just wow.
Other than the director, nothing about this movie excites me.
I don't get the "looks like Transformers" remarks.
The Jaegers don't fly (as far as we know), they're manned by a human pilot tandem, are certainly not invincible (we can see evidence in the trailer already), and as far as a giant upright/bipedal design goes, these machines look a lot more practical than some of the LOL-inducing stuff in "those" movies. The redesigned Transformers of Bay's movies look like shit.

Well, I'm not jaded. I still get excited when I see some badass action in a trailer.
The new Die Hard and G.I. Joe have better trailers than this. This isn't to say Pacific Rim won't be good, but this trailer is like cleavage in a public setting: you look at it, then you look away. This isn't a "I know there's a naked woman waiting for me" kind of trailer.
The moment I saw the rocket punch I was sold.
This is the best trailer I've seen since the Prometheus one, and hopefully it won't disappoint me as much as that movie did.
