Lol, he didnt abandon her, he was passed out and bleeding in that scene and he couldnt answer her because he was unconscious from a fatal gut wound, when the calvary finally showed up he ported Rogue when he was near death. He was standing along side rest of the X-Men as they left Cece there. He had battled and teleported against Domina with that same injury to save Rogue, yet couldn't do it for Cece.

There are grains of truth in these things but you purposely twist them out of proportion to suit your needs. This is like when fans say Rogue killed Kurt. Its nonsense.
