Sorry if the series didn't click with you but it definitely clicked with me and Adam Glass is doing better a job than you think.
It might be shocking if most of it hadn't been shown in one form or another during the other Squad runs and Secret Six. Not to mention the fact that you could see most of it coming a mile away. Hey, I'm glad some of you guys like it, but I find it extremely generic in comparison to what's been done with these characters already.

It was an ok issue. I generally love this book but wasnt blown away here. The Joker doesn't love Harley! He loves the fact that she loves him. Thats the one thing they have in common. Love of the Joker.
Sad to see Lou and Bud die. Poor Babies. I thought it was quite stupid that Harley bit off a piece of his tongue and there was absolutely no effect in his speech or even any blood. Was it just a piece of his mangled face?

Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.

It's possible the death of Bud and Lou symbolised the 'death' of old-school Harley in a way, and a severing of her old life with the Joker. Because it was a mercy killing, it seemed to me to underscore the fact that although she can now assert herself against him, she can do so without becoming like him.

The tongue part was bad, in addition to The Joker's ripped shirt collar being able to support both of them hanging (not to mention the fact that she used him to propel herself upward & it still didn't rip).

I never thought of Bud and Lou's deaths like that but it does make a lot of sense when you put it that way.

I agree, and thought #15 was really awesome. The series kind of revived itself for me during death of the family. It feels more than just a suicide squad team faction book at least IMO. The Harley joker stuff is almost a book on its own, which is really powerful stuff. Im almost not looking forward to reading about deadshot and the gang again lol. I want to keep reading about joker and harley, or should I say harleen? Ill let you decide which one.

Also, the art was INCREDIBLE, and just simply put, a book of my taste. The colors and bold feautures were really enjoyable.
