Yes
No
I'll play it by ear Depending on how Superior Spider-man is

The monster saved them all. And in their fear, they betrayed him. As they always have. As they always will.

Yeah, it's the train wreck factor that makes it hard to entirely turn my back on this. And this guy's supposed to have a team up with Daredevil soon, so I won't get away from it whether I want to or not.
I know some of you saw those two leaked pages from SSM #1, but we arent discussing them until they are released by marvel. Currently, it seems that the issue they are in isnt available at retail. We wont be discussing what you saw until such time.
Getting tired of leaks myself.... anyone else feel the same way?
It seems to me that the "leaks" are actually plants. For one, it's way too early for anyone outside of Marvel to have a copy of SSM #1. Secondly, if someone did actually get a copy and went to the trouble to scan pages of it, they would have scanned the page that reveals his identity as well. This is just the right amount of "leak" without ruining the surprise.
And it's not like those lettered pages revealed something entirely new. We already know it won't be Peter, and since we've seen those panels before, it wasn't hard to figure out he's running from a fight even then.
does not matter. We arent discussing a spoiler for a book thats not out till january based on a leak that might not have been legally obtained. You may discuss it when SSM #1 preview lands or an officially released book has the preview in the back of it is available at retail. Until said time its more akin to piracy than anything else. I'll also allow it if cbr posts the pages as well, until said time... its not open for discussion or debate.
Okay. Point taken and understood. You're right.
Like all new series that i start reading. i give it a few issues. if it doesnt keep my attention..i will probably drop it. if i do decide to drop it..atleast i can get my spider fix from the Scarlet spider series.
I'm just curious about how most people are thinking, as I will drop it. I understand what Marvel is doing, I really do, they want to take readers on this journey and refresh Spider-Man.
But I cannot follow this travesty. It's just too painful for any long-term Spider-Man fan.
I will be back, though, when the time is right to be back ("wink wink"). I'm just hoping that it won't take very long for that to happen.
I will be buying Spider-Man until the day I die. So no, I won't be dropping the book. But I suspect I'm a different comic book fan than most since I only read Spider-Man. He's my favourite chraracter and I love reading about him every month.
