Agreed, although Rorschach is pretty good too if you enjoyed the character in Watchmen.
    Continuity doesn't matter.

    Yeah, that's pretty much it.

I'm glad they made them. I'm not some newb that doesn't know or respect what Alan Moore did, but at the same time, I think the books should be judged by their own merits. NOT by whether you think they should have been made or not. With the exception of Dr. M, I am enjoying the heck out of them.

If people want to miss out on good storytelling for dumb ass reasons then that's their prerogative, I suppose.
Personally, I was excited about new adventures of the Watchmen characters, so long as they remained as true as possible to the actual characters. While I have not necessarily enjoyed all the stories, I feel the writers at least did a good job on the former.

Minutemen is really the only one worth a damn.

I dropped Comedian after #2. Pretty bad.

Manhattan does have fantastic art. But one issue to go and the story feels like its gone nowhere.

Rorscach--love the art. Not sure about the story. Got #3 sitting here but havent read it yet.

Nite Owl #1 was decent but #2 was so bad I had to drop it.

Wasn't liking the direction of Silk Spectre so I dropped it after #2 but it was kinda charming.

Ozy #1 was interesting but I didnt read past #1.

I'm glad I picked up the issues I have though.

Most of the books I feel like are out of character fanfic stories still LOL but whatever. At least the art is nice. Won't be buying the collected editions though.

Picked em up simply cuz I loved Watchmen.

Rorschach and Comedian were really really not great after books 1 and 2, but this weeks release completely put my faith back into the tail end of the series. Really well done issues IMO.

OZY was the exact opposite. It was my favorite of the bunch, and then by issue 3 I had had enough.

At the end of the day, its 3.99 and the artwork looks really good in my collection, so make the call.

I was going to post a thread about before watchman whats your thoughts now, then i saw this thread so im posting it here
For me I love the Before watchman comics and how they all are interconected is the best part.I think they are all Amazing with the comedian being the weakest one.The back up were great in the begining but then they became confusing and unintesting
