I doubt that because everyone keeps asking and all Dc gives is excise after excuse and after the mistreatment by McDaniel done to Static-90% of Static fans are done with DC as a whole.I heard Static would be showing up in Teen Titans in 2013.
Get the first 8 issues of the Black Lighting 90s series. Isabella did those before getting dumped for some writer from another country. BL's book was yet another Dc book with a black male lead to have editorial issues-John Stewart's book was the first and Static was the most recent. No, but I will now thx 4 the recommendation.
Now in the original Milestone/Dc deal-Dc & Milestone split profits and Dc paid a licensing fee to Milestone every year. So I would expect that to still remain. I do know the sharing of profits is still current.DC has to pay a share of the money made by the comic book where any Milestone character appears. Plus, once the deal expires, DC would loose the hability to reprint those stories.
If what I'm saying is not true, I would appreciate some quotes. I've read what McDuffie said and I'm pretty sure he confirmed what I just said.
McDuffie did complain that Dc really wanted to use Static only. He was more than willing to do so. It would have saved both parties money. The talk of the 2 Milestone series didn't pop up until the backlash of Static's booting from Teen Titans because a certain writer claimed Static was trash.
Those 2 series became Xombi and would have been Henderson's Static series-that became McDaniel's book-the poster child of the worst line of books called Young Justice line.
