Ok, so is it just me or do the solicits for World's Finest, Batman & Robin and Batman make it sound like Damian dies in Death of the Family? This is the only thing I can think of that would feed into the specifics of each. This could be huge... and I have no idea how I feel about this possible development.

Nothing particularly mind-blowing this month. Still not sure whether I'm dropping Justice League Dark or Action but probably yes. The creative team chances/arcs ending are a good drop-off point. Otherwise:

Justice League of America #2 (Martian Manhunter back-up? Yes!)
    Green Arrow #18
    Justice League #18
    Aquaman #18
    The Flash #18
    Wonder Woman #18
    Batman Incorporated #9
    Batman #18
    Green Lantern #18
Animal Man #18 (loving that Jae Lee cover)
Swamp Thing #18 (byebye Snyder )
Dial H #10 (possibly the best cover for this series yet by Brian Bolland, and that's saying a lot. Not thrilled about Ponticelli on art....I just hope he has a good inker)

Those Batman Noir and Authority collections are mighty tempting as well. I've never read the Authority and it's been out of print for a while. Same goes for Azz/Risso's Batman Broken City. Now's as good a time as any.

Kind of disappointed that the upcoming Lemire and Snyder/Murphy Vertigo books weren't solicited. I'm impatient, and Trillium and the Wake are my two most anticipated books for 2013.

I don't think that is going to happen. He is on covers and mentioned in stories after the DotF event, so it doesn't seem likely.

    For sure
    WONDER WOMAN #18
    BATMAN #18
    DETECTIVE COMICS #18
    BATWOMAN #18
GREEN LANTERN #18 - Hal and Sinestro are finally back!
    JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #18
    ANIMAL MAN #18
    SWAMP THING #18
    DIAL H #10
DEMON KNIGHTS #18 - I hope Venditti delivers, otherwise I might consider dropping the book
    ALL-STAR WESTERN #18
    STORMWATCH #18

    Undecided about:

    GREEN ARROW
CONSTANTINE #1 - Undecided about this book, wait and see how its received

    Also

HELLBLAZER VOL. 5: DANGEROUS HABITS TP NEW EDITION - I just might catch up with these TP's instead of pulling the new Constantine book... idk

DC's primary group, namely Justice League really doesn't hold interest for me; apart from Wonder Woman that is, to me it really feels like the book should be branded differently.

Is Constantine replacing a book that has been chopped ? Or was there "only" 51 book in february ?
Has ROBERT VENDITTI done anything good ? I don't know him at all...

Still no sign of Snyder's Superman...

ps : I don't see Snyder killing Damian. Killing Robin has already been done... it would only be the same thing all over again, but this time with Bruce actual son (well, you know what I mean...)

Let's see here, I'm planning to get:

    Justice League of America
    Justice League
    Aquaman
Fury of Firestorm: the Nuclear Man
    Earth 2
    Worlds' Finest
    Superman
    Superboy
    Supergirl
    Batgirl
    Batwoman
    Birds of Prey
    Green Lantern
    Green Lantern Corps
    Green Lantern: New Guardians
    Justice League Dark
    Sword of Sorcery
    Teen Titans
    Ravagers

I'm dropping Legion of Super-Heroes and Dial H due to the change in artists. Hopefully JLA will be a good replacement. I'll be taking a close look at Action Comics with Morrison leaving, but the art and supporting cast will have to be pretty good to get me to buy it, considering the price tag.

surprisingly, i am really excited for jla, something i didn't expect to be. the only downside i see is the martian manhunter backup.

now before the pitchforks start showing up at my door for saying that let me defend:

i am somewhat against backups. if i'm paying the extra dollar i want those extra pages to just be part of the main story. justice league hasn't done that for me so far, and neither did early detective comics (the new guy seems to be better with relevency) and batman it was good during court of owls, but slipping a little in the joker arc (still great stories, just not as relevant to me so far)

other than that probably the usuals
    batman
    green lantern new guardians
    teen titans

    and very likely
    deathstroke
    justice league dark

    Alright then:

    Ame-Comi Girls #1
    Animal Man #18
    Batman #18
    Batwoman #18
Constantine #1 (Dammit, it ties in JLD)
    Detective Comics #18
    Dial H #10
    Green Arrow #18
    Justice League Dark #18
    Justice League of America #2
    Saucer Country #13
Swamp Thing #18 (So Snyder is still aboard for now)
    Sword of Sorcery #6
    Talon #6
    Team Seven #6

Will Be Reading in Store to See If it's Worth Getting Later in Trade:
Birds of Prey #18 (Curious about the new writer, but not enough to drop some money on it)

    Dropped for Trade Waiting:
    Aquaman
    Justice League

Niether of them are bad to me, I just can't afford to keep going with them monthly.

I don't remember exactly what its replacing, but February has a Valentine's oneshot that is part of the 52 as a placeholder for Constantine.

    Hey Johns, Lee, and Didio

Where is the rest of All-Star Batman and the Boy Wonder? Its been 22 years now, do you not want a top 10 book on the shelves?

Time to do the Time Warp.

Ooh, and Hellblazer: Dangerous Habits. HB's maybe the one Ennis classic I've not gotten to yet.

Is that the New 52 Captain Carrot showing up in Threshold #3?

    • Former Green Lantern Jediah Caul leads an assault on the powers behind the game...a very ill advised assault.
    Introducing CAPTAIN K’ROT!
    • In the backup feature, the hunt for Larfleeze’s stuff turns up evidence that the theft was an inside job!
    Doctor Who? Doctor.... Who!!?!

I've waited patiently since the end of 'No Man's Land' for more Alex Maleev drawing Batman and finally (!!!) that day is nigh... sure, it's just a back-up but I'll take what I can get.
