What? That's issue #18 cover!
Anyway, I'm already in love with the first dialogues.
Wonder Woman loves you too.
lol@ Lennox trolling Orion.
She was wearing a hoodie (I just checked.)
That is a LOT of trouble that seems to be brewing. I wonder what Strife is up to.
Oh, and "Pinna" on the cover must be Amilcar Pinna, and he is a penciller.
Hopefully half of the issue will be drawed by him and that he is a good artist.
Wonder Woman loves you too.
I think that theory about the next traitor being Diana herself is becoming more solid with the first dialogues.
Or it's indeed Zola with that knife.
Wonder Woman loves you too.
The penciling seems better than I expected.
Lennox had some good lines, this issue should be a lot of fun.
You people make it so difficult not to take a peek!
Is it Wednesday yet?
Yeah--I guess Orion's mother box was able to trace Hera and Zola by the hair that he found, so he's boom tubing (presumably with Lennox and Orion) straight into the bar. I think it's good that Wonder Woman and crew are being reunited with Zola and the gods so quickly in this issue.
I hope we see more of Milan.
I'm not sure what to think of some of the dialogue. Diana rehearsing the conversation she was going to have with Hera and Zola wasn't the most confident moment she ever had, but it was very human. But when she said "killing an infant is so...[common] for me, too--I mean, I'm an Amazons"--I wasn't sure I liked that; I get that she's being sardonic about what she learned from Heph, but it seems a little unfair to her family, as she hasn't (as far as we know) learned that the Amazons ever actually killed infants. At lease it's more evidence of how what she learned from Heph shook her confidence in her family, as it should have. I also wasn't crazy about her being so quick to blame Lennox; but I did like that Lennox seemed to raise a criticism against Diana (her trying to have it both ways about being independent and having a Scooby gang) that some people on the boards have raised. Also, some should be happy that the first three pages (if these are from the beginning of the book) are pretty Diana-centric.
I'm very curious what "game" Strife is onto. Something about the Firstborn, or something about War wanting to pick a fight with Wonder Woman? Or both?
I do like how events seem to be coming to a head.
Hey, I'm relaxed! I am calmness personified.
This promises to be a great week. I get to read Saga, Wonder Woman, Action Comics, and Diana's introduction to her former honorary Amazon sister Supergirl. Add a little Amethyst and a slice of apple pie with Captain Universe... yep the stars have aligned for this Wednesday.
