    Default MGSV: The Phantom Pain

Though Moby Dick Studio’s website claims to be operating out of Sweden, it also says it was founded by someone named “Joakim Mogren.” As many on Twitter and even Kotaku and Polygon have pointed out, “Joakim” is an anagram for Kojima.
Plus, Morgen has the word 'Ogre' in it. Project Ogre was named as Konami's project a while back.

Check the trailer and watch for 2:03 and 2:59. You get some pretty clear looks at the main characters face (and he's called a soldier). His right eye is ****ed over, so its Naked Snake. Plus, its a bunch of stealth, and the giant whale eating the helicopter is probably a metal gear. The guy with the powers has a weird Psycho Mantis thing going on, and the end of the trailer has a patient floating that way PM does. It's been confirmed that it not Ground Zeroes (Snake looks waaay to young there for it to be GZ), and the thing with the letters in the logo is pretty convincing.

Kojima was also hinted at making the next Silent Hill. For some reason, I think it might be that.

Worth noting that one of the bad guys blowing up the hospital is also a dead-ringer for Colonel Volgin. If this is a thinly disguised Metal Gear trailer, it looks like a nightmare sequence.

It's also worth noting that Big Boss was in a coma at some point in the 1970s, which was when Zero and Para-Medic took his DNA and cloned Solid and Liquid Snake from him without his consent....perhaps this is a dream during that period?

Either way, it looks like something really awesome.

I though Kojimas new job was to have his name slapped on games he didn't actually work on, like that castlevania game.

If that is big boss.... how did he lose his arm? Unless, they did a ocelot/liquid thing to him later...

This game could still be metal gear, but I don't think that the main character is big boss......... it could be..... LIQUID! Considering they do chop his arm off.

Big Boss again? dammit. I expected Solid Snake to be the main character for MGSV. Well, provided that this is indeed MGSV, which never crossed my mind when I first watched that trailer.

Liquid lost the other arm though. On thing to not is that in MGS1 and MGS4, you never got to see BB's arms. He always had sleeves and gloves on. Maybe that's because the arm is cybernetic. The likelihood that Kojima really thought that fare ahead seems kind of unlikely though.

And I was hoping for Solid Snake to be the protagonist too, but no dice. :(

This could even be Raiden in a way. Missing limbs, eye, etc. This could be how he turned into the cyborg ninja. Hair Color isn't the same, but who said that his hair wasn't dyed White in MGS2.

Raiden? With a brown mullet and facial hair that looks exactly like BB's? Sounds kind of unlikely. This is definitely a snake. The only snake with his right eye missing is BB. It has to be Naked.

If that's what the whole game is like it'd certainly be a major shift in overall tone for MGS games.

You sound like you know for sure

But raiden, I think lost his right eye also and I just said his hair could be dyed and the narrative sounds whiny like Raiden :P Big Boss would be all like, I'm taking these asses down with crutches!

Nah, can't be Raiden. After checking this article and what the TO posted, it really seems to be MGSV.

Damn, I want SOLID FREAKIN' SNAKE to be the main character, DAMMIT. And hell, that doctor really looks like Kio Marv from MG2. I totally missed that.
