-Is one of the oldest nations, it has existed since around 4000 B.C. Under it's current emperor, it has existed since 1000 A.D.
-The current Emperor, of the five hundred year strong Qun Dynasty, is Quon Lee Qun. He is 25 years of age, and has ruled for the last ten.
-Quon is a quiet, introspective man. Young as far as the rulers of the 11 nations go (with only Catherine being younger), he feels he often has much to prove to his nation and the rest of the world.
-China has a military equal in size to Albion's, though it is not quite has advanced at the moment.
-China is also roughly Prussia's level in tech, though it is slightly less advanced overall.
-China's language is Chinese, and all it's various variants (many). The main two are Cantonese and Mandarin, though.
-China's religious structure is very odd. Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and the old god worship of China still exist in roughly equal parts, alongside various other eastern beliefs.
-China has a significant level of magic, psychics, and qi users. They are often seen as heroes and are generally well respected in Chinese culture.
-China's currency is the Renminbi. It is equal to an Albion Mark.
Holy Roman Empire:
-Founded sometime around 100 A.D.
-Once included much of Albion, Prussia, and even some of Egypt and Persia. However, since the last religious war, it ahs since lost much of it's land and power. Despite this, it is still the spiritual home of the oldest group of Christians, the Roman Church.
-The HRE is ruled by Pope Thomas Agavaga and by Emperor Julius Romana. Julius is little more than a puppet king, however, and generally does what the Pope says to do.
-Economically, the HRE is not large or powerful. Nor does it possess a great military. Instead, it employs Templar Covens and the Julian Guard. The Julian Guard is the main military, and is drawn from each state that consists of the HRE. While not large in number, it does a good job at containing border skirmishes. The Templar Covens are technically not supposed to have power outside the HRE or the Vatican, but they are in fact the long, and strong, arm of the Pope.
-The HRE's real strength lies in two areas. Financially, it is very wealthy and handles much banking from other nations. It's other strength is information and history. HRE spies, archeologists, treasure seekers, and anthropologists are well known to be pretty much the best in the field. And due to old treaties with most other nations, they can go pretty much anywhere.
-Pope Agavaga is in his seventies, and Julius has just turned 30. Despite his age, Agavaga is quite sharp with his wits and shrewd with his mind. He is a crafty politician and businessman.
-The HRE don't overly look kindly on some of the more fanciful technologies that have come out recently. While cotton gins, printing presses, and even some limited electrical lighting is fine, modern railways do not exist, nor do any radios, phones, or that sort outside some military use.
-Magic users are not seen kindly in the HRE. While a few are employed (under strict orders and use), these are fanatics loyal to the Pope. The rest are seen as going against God. It was because of this schism in belief that Arthur Pendragon first started warring against the HRE, and created the Church of Albion instead.
-Psychics and ki users are seen in a somewhat better light, and most of these are employed in either the Julian Guard or the Templar Covens.
The HRE uses Latin, Italian, French, Spanish, Greek, and Portuguese as their native languages. However, the most common is Latin and French.
-The HRE's currency is the Roman Dollar. It is equal in value to half a Prussian Note, or a quarter of an Albion Mark.
Hey Cleric, since it requires a knowledge of all abilities in game, how do you determine the power of null magic?
-Has existed since 1500 A.D.
-It's current head is not a monarchy, but a Grand Council comprised of seven elected individuals. Each one controls a different aspect of Indian government, finances, politics, and judiciary measures.
-It has a good sized military. Not as large as China's, but only slightly smaller.
-Tech wise it is below China by a few pegs, with the most modern thing being a newly put in steam powered rail line running from one end of the country to the other, crossing through the capital, Mumbai.
-It has the largest population of the nations, though China's not far behind it.
-It's language is Hindi.
-It's religions are some Buddhism, some Muslim, some Christian, but mostly Hindu.
-Magic, psychic, and ki wise, it is fairly large. It has nearly as many as China does, and like in China, they are treated with immense respect and honor.
-Economically speaking, it is a fair bit lower on the totem pole than China, though it is growing back toward the good.
Where's a map/list of all of the available Streamline countries again?
Maybe something like 40% of a characters total stat points? (Currently that would be 52). With the restrictions that, if the stat you're trying to effect with the null magic is higher than the magic itself it only lessens the stat by half its total power?
