And responding, as usual, is going to take ten years due to the sheer number of posts that have come out.

I really shouldn't have slept the day away.

Gateway Railgun was a dual-tech used in the last fight of SHR2 by Drake and Ramza. It was pretty much Ramza firing his standard Railgun through a bunch of Gateways, which double the speed of the object that enters them. Ramza (the player, not the character) roughly calculated that the impact would have fucked up the planet had they missed.

It nearly soloed the final boss, with the Queen barely surviving it in her own words.

Well, it did blow up her body at the atomic level. She just came back by dissolving her throne and rebuilding her body from it.

I think it was Jason who threw a moon at the End Boss in Codex, so...good luck with that.

I really regret missing that fight.

Oh. The technique that caused Cleric to nerf speed.

Are the stats between that game and this one similar?

If so, I don't need luck.

If not, I'm going to have to do some math.

Physical stats like strength, durability and speed are pretty much the same.

Yeah, but our characters were specifically in a powered up state during the last boss battle.

It's why we could throw moons, shoot FTL projectiles and light up a miniature sun in the sky.

Yeah, we were full fledged gods by that point.

Ciel might not have done much, but she opened up a hole to nothingness for the others to blast Blue Eyes into. :P

Kyle did nothing with his godhood, but he still turned Tandra, and had Olivia thinking of him when she was with Gregory

Also, did you ever explain why she used a crowbar?

    ....

    I never did.

Well, it wasn't much of a reason, anyways. I was going to try for a corruption theme when I flared out and pretty much crashed when it came to Codex.

The crowbar was a tool whose purpose was subverted towards a darker bent. All of her powers were supposed to be portraying the opposite side of her intent. Ciel wanted to preserve things where Amatsu-Mikaboshi wanted to corrupt and ultimately destroy.

Now, if Irie's author can get his head in the game long enough to type it out, we'll have something.

In other news, Jacob- and whoever's behind him- is going to be attacked so hard before the end of the game.

    It's going to undoubtedly fail.

    That's fine.

Is this going to be one of those things where you don't write what she actually does in the post to keep it a big reveal?
