Uh I could be wrong but I think Fifty Two might be talking about pre-Flashpoint Ronnie. Not Nu52 Ronnie. Could be wrong but I think old Ronnie actually did go into a nuclear power planet where he fused in Firestorm with Stein.

Anyway, I have no problem with the new Fate personally. Fate has always to me been linked to the helmet, not the person underneath it. At least, thats my view. No disrespect to the creator of the character and I don't hate Kent Nelson. Will kind of miss the character though... personally, I kind of hope Nelson is a ghost that guides the new Fate on his path. Though I do wonder whether the Lords of Order and Chaos will still be present or wiped from this new incarnation's mythos.
I am Apocalypse! Look upon the future and tremble!
I am as far beyond Mutants as they are beyond you. I am eternal.
Evil? I am not malevolent, I simply am!

Depends on whether they already exist and are tied into Hawk and Dove that nobody read.

But the fact that new Ronnie didn't doesn't change the fact that old Ronnie did, as a valid example of "kid sneaks into secure area" as a trope of the genre.
    It doesn't matter what the writer, artist, or editor had in mind when they created it, or what they said in an interview;
all that matters is what is on the page.

    *sigh*
Where did I say it did? I was just complaining a little about the Firestorm reboot.

Please share your wealth of knowledge then.

You can see Wildstorm concepts everywhere.
You can see 90'ties everywhere. Wildstorm is mostly boxed into the Edge family and a few escapees into the YJ line.

Google is your friend. Try using it. "didio smallville stephanie"
And it is his job. DC Comics value is its characters. The boss has the final word when choosing the version of a character.
    Then what's Johns' job then?

Wow, what an wonderfull human being you are. 4 years is enough to forget all about someone? Amazing. I understand now why you were having a problem with something so simple and harmless.
4 years is enough to stop caring about a creation that evidently wasn't that so great to begin with that people thought it needed to be preserved for all eternity.

Again, respecting a deceased person is bananas. Yeah, and there was nothing wrong with Siegel and Schuster dying in poverty when millions were being made from Superman. Or with Bill Finger getting 0 official credit for Batman.
And what has any of this to do with the...what, 5th generation of Dr. Fate?

And I'm done with you on this subject. You have awfull moral views.
What? just because I am realistic and you aren't, thanks, it's good to know who is capable of moving on and who isnt.
