    Default Detective Comics, #15

Jason Fabok's gorgeous drawings keenly compliment John Layman's Poison Ivy-Clayface story in "Detective Comics" #15.

    Default Jumping On Point?

I haven't read this series because I heard that it was going a little slow, but that it is starting to pick up now. Does anyone know if this is a good jumping on point for a new story arc? Or which issue might be a good jumping on point, if not this one?
    Thanks!!

The Layman/Fabok run started with issue 13, so that is the ideal starting point. Every issue sort of works as its own thing, for the most part, but obviously you're going to miss stuff, and it's only 3 issues.

    So yeah, start with 13!

Yeah, as Desaad said, start with #13. It's been pretty good so far. It's a bit more low-key compared to Snyder's book, but that's what I like about it.
    Current favorites:

    DC: Smallville, Supergirl, Detective Comics
Marvel: Ultimate X-Men, Scarlet Spider, X-Factor, Thor
Other: Saga, Angel & Faith, Buffy

Awesome! Thank you. So it's a new story arc, like I won't be confused by any past stuff that happened?

Yeah, issue #13 is Layman's first issue and it's the start of the story arc. You can just jump in there. There's no need at all to pick up any of the issues before that. You won't be confused.

Anyone else feel like this book and Dark Knight are interchangeable?

Under Tony, it wasn't great. Now, I can't tell which book has what storyline going.

Another solid outing for Detective Comics. I dropped this book from my pull list not because of anything wrong with the title I just had to cut some where. That said I still picked up #15.
I can't keep getting 25 titles, I must cut it down to 16 and this is a very good book.
Man having to cut titles sucks when you can't make your mind up about what to keep and what to cut!

Why? Cause Clayface is brown and Scarecrow has a brown mask?

    Seriously..

Another sweet issue from Layman and Fabok!
I thought the whole idea of how Ivy planted a seed in Clayface in order to control him was cool, and creative too.

never read a Detective Comics issue before.
i loved the story in this one! even though it's the end of a run, it was highly enjoyable!!
    nice choice! :D
oh, and it wasn't very related to Death of the Family, true, but it wasn't necessary. a nice book.
