Dsyart's Unknown Solider is a great comic.

    That issue spoilers:
where he personifies an AK-47 caught me completely off guard and just news me away.

I want to read some Felix Feneon, his flash fiction is supposed to great.

Lots of reviews of his work on the net and some people even post examples of what is contained in this trove.

    Here's an example, a gem.

"Scheid, of Dunkirk, fired three times at his wife. Since he missed every shot, he decided to aim at his mother-in-law, and connected."
    LOL! Awesome.

I love Fables, it's only flaw is the writer just won't end the bloody thing!

Great world-building, great characters and characterisation, genre-bending, action, humour and intelligence.

I'm in love with Dalkey Archive. Any book with only 8 reviews means it must be great :-)

Probably one the best single issues of a comic in recent history. IMO at least. I was impressed how he put it into the DCU too.

    Dalkey Archive is damn marvelous!

Is the 8 reviews comment sarcastic?

Newsarama did a similar list a week or two ago, and I have to say that this list is orders of magnitude better than that one simply because they didn't forget about transmet. I'm happy that my top three made the list which are:

    3. Transmet
    2. Y
    1. Preacher

It IS awesome, and is one of those overlooked gems that a lot of people don't know about. Kyle Baker is a genius anyway, but this is one of his most perfect works. This piece also perfectly demonstrates the balance and synergy of words and pictures and how they compliment each other so well.

Adding more love for Sandman Mystery Theatre here. Only read the first five or so issues, but I do love Guy Davis' art (plus he's a great guy from what I can tell), so I think it's always worth mentioning. The colouring might be a little odd in the first arc, the second is a bit weird with its worrying depictions of the Chinese, but as a title? It's awesome.

Always sad to see it not even get a mention when someone drools over Sandman. They were both born out of the same title, and I think they had a tiny bit of overlap at some point (doesn't Wesley appear in Sandman?).
