Does she still do those things?
Does she still do those things?
No. On account of her people are all rapey sex pirates who've been turned into snakes.
virtue untested is innocence
"Rapey" is such a big word...
I hope she still is.I mean isn't that the she was sent to the man's world?
Currently, over a year into the re-launch, WW's reason for coming to and being in the Man's world has not yet been defined. The way that she got here has not been revealed.
Apparently she came to mans world to fight evil. Her current methods seem to revolve around punching, and occasionally slitting throats.
Wonder Woman has always been prepared to throw a punch, but equally ready to listen, learn, and teach. As a teacher myself I always liked the idea that our profession had its own superhero (kind of like a patron saint) and indeed most of the teachers I work with are women. But the feeling seems to be that folks who explicitly talk about a better way to live and nobler ideals to do it by are boring and preachy - despite the contradictory evidence from Captains Kirk and Picard.

Irene Adler: “I would have you right here on this desk until you begged for mercy twice.”
Sherlock: “I’ve never begged for mercy in my life.”
Irene: “Twice.”
I hope not. Even Perez, who created that roll for her, mainly sidelined it to photos of speeches she was giving.
I prefer her original approach-- the grassroots activist. She helped transform people's lives one at a time. That's a better recipe for fun and adventurous stories than having her shaping policy or doing UNICEF voiceovers.
