And after that he became capable of taking hits from two dozen Titans...sure.

So the Apokolipse invasion had some pretty far reaching implications for the DC Universe as a whole, no?
Implications, yes. Importance, not really. The invasion of Earth 2 had a far larger impact than it did on the main Earth.

Granted, DC will release a Shazam trade before they start the on-going.
I think this is the point of this backup (And having people actually reading his debut in the New 52 so a Shazam title would have reader afterward).
For now there would only be 95 pages for this trade...

So if I follow your point, Joker is a great character only because Batman never had the intention to kill him, and Lex Luthor because Big Blue never killed him, and so on for every rogue of the JL... ?
Cheetah has strength rivaling to Diana, and she got greater agility and speed (she could bite The Flash for christ sake...)

Light became a lightweight because of Zatana (since she lobotomized him). He then fought every Titans at once (meaning Nightwing, and Arsenal too) to prove his worth...

Earth 2 never had the Justice league... only the Trinity (and Robin and Supergirl). And their spirit had been broken by Steppenwolf (Lois was dead, every amazon except fury were slaugthered... and Catwoman died too). And it was implied (in the zero issue) that another Wonder betrayed them (probably Steppenwolf).
And you seem to forget that it was Sloan who applied "the scorched earth tactic"...
THe whole point of Earth 2 is to see what would happen if earth had lost this war (or won at a terrible cost)
