Fantastic Four #2 (Seriously, a floating heads cover? That's it? Hell, even the variant's just Ben smashing the logo. Ugghhh!!! And if the F4 are going someplace, why don't they leave? Is this just a six issue good-bye arc? I did like the non-reaction of the YSG. Had a Yancy Streeter said a quiet good bye or had a moment, that would have been almost unforgivably mushy. And don't the F4 do this stuff all the time? Running off to different era and dimensions? What caused their protective behavior this time? Remind me again, why couldn't this have been called Fantastic Four #613?)

Oddly tempted by Marvel Universe vs the Avengers, though the art is terrible.

    Arena
Assemble... man, I don't know. Art bugs me, story is fun though. I think I'll get this issue and see if I'll continue or wait to collect in trade.

Jeff appears to have missed a subtle, but important, fact in Tony's tirade regarding Reed's creation of the Thor clone Ragnarok.

Tony: "Making his own Thor? How did he get a sample to grow fr--. Why am I asking? It's Richards."

Heh... Uh, no... The DNA came from a hair of Thor's that Tony had and they both worked on the clone. Hell, when Thor returned, he beat the @#$% out of Tony over his involvement in the creation of Ragnarok! Civil War...? Goliath..? :-D

Maybe he didn't help build it in that dimension.

I haven't been reading it, but is that Tony?! Never seen that armor before. Was he also in the issue before?

It's another dimension (NEW GALAXY), where the heroes are villains.

I guess that's possible... but even then it's strange Reed would leave a "Maker's Mark" and not Tony. Or Tony not recognizing his own work.
