Good review although it reads as if it were a perfect issue instead of a 4 star. Where are the negatives? Personally I thought it was a 3.5 or a 4 so I agree, but wasn't sure why you didn't give it 5.

Thanks for reading. To be honest, it's not always possible to fit in all the criticisms and praise of any individual issue without rambling on past the word limit, so we tend to concentrate on the most pertinent points. In a way, that's why the star rating is there - to give you context for the review, rather than simply reflect it. It's clearly not a 5-star book, but for me, what was good about it deserved discussion more than what wasn't.
I thought it was a good issue. Very tonally different than last issue and (based on the solicits) very different from 700. It's nice to see Scorpion and Hydro Man. Mac Gargan especially hasn't been put to use after he received his new Scorpion suit. I was kind of hoping they'd form a new Sinister Six this issue though we're not done with the series yet so there's still a chance. Definitely interested to see what Norman Osborn's up to.
Good issue (and good review!)
The only thing I wasn't quite clear on while reading it is: is it a 'classical' brain transfer (so it is actually Peter in Octavius' body) or just the brain patterns that have been superposed (ie it would still be Octavius in his own body thinking he is Peter)?
