Looking forward to this. Ellison's long been a fan of Concrete. And Chadwick's art is wonderful.

Sounds interesting, but why is the news in the Vertigo forum? Didn't see mentioned that 7 Against Chaos would be a Vertigo title. And that kind of matters in the light of what we've been discussing in the last several days about DC policy towards Vertigo.

    According to blastr.com:

Put these two cats together and you get sweet harmony in the form of Harlan Ellison's 7 Against Chaos, which will be released under DC's main banner this coming summer.

Not a Vertigo book then. Still great news, of course.

I love Ellison, but man oh man, do I predict that his temperament, and DC’s seeming desire to control writers by corporate/editorial fiat as a collision waiting to happen.

If that collision occurs, then for the first time in a long while the sentiment ‘The DC Universe will never be the same’ may actually prove true.

Cool, more graphic novels. Would have been better if it came from Vertigo though.

    Holy crap, awesome.

But the fact that this is being released out of DC proper is certainly a bad sign for Vertigo.

I'm also hoping for some follow up on the next Concrete book, Stars Over Sand.

    Wow !

Ellison & Chadwick. That pic looks so sweet.

Hope this doesn't implode, and yes, I'm hoping for a clearer understanding of what's happening with Vertigo too. It's 20th anniversary is next year !
