What is this based on? The big 2 have so many minority artists. I listen to podcasts, a lot of the artists don't even live in America and speak much English, and I have no reason to think they're treated poorly. Spanish artist Guillem March for example, speaking of Catwoman. And I'd say Asian American born in Korea artist Jim Lee counts for doing pretty well.

This thread reminds me of a favorite piece of CHEERS dialogue, in which Diane addresses the barflies thusly:
