Cable and X-Force #3 preview: Has Hope finally been taken into protective custody?

Hope is far better defined than the vast majority of X-men characters. Which other character received a 25 issue series about their upbringing? Since Scwierzynski is an actual writer, he managed to define her personality and motives,-which have pretty much remained intact (AVX was out off character for everyone.). The reason they didn't write off Hope is that Marvel recognized they lucked out by creating proper character for once.

Being the messiah that might save or doom mutantkind was what made her interesting. She should have died during AvX, only PAD can turn event plot devices into interesting characters.

I disagree with that. I loved her development in Cable. Everything after Second Coming has been boring. Gen Hope went nowhere, and she was just a tool in AVX.

Its kind of damning evidence when you have smoking guns, a demolished Building, and nothing but Civilian corpses all over the place. I hope Cable at least tries to explain himself to his Uncle so he doesn't come off as a complete dick. I mean seriously the Police run up to find you with a gun in your hand and dead bodies all over the place. He should be glad Alex is giving him a chance. It looks like they Violently resisted going in to the talk about the situation like damn adults.

Not a chance. Cable knows the Avengers are @$$holes and that mutant avengers are traitors. He isn't going to trust any avengers, especially the turncoats, to be fair or logical. Hell, he probably thinks that they'll get locked up or killed in the name of national defense. Can't trust an organization that decided to police an entire race.

I don't think that Hope would help the Avengers in the slightest against Cable, She has not debased herself enough to betray her father. Maybe she h is debased enough that they would live though telling her they were hunting cable though

I can't tell if you're joking? At the end of X-sanction, Cable pleads with cyclops to "protect Hope against the avengers." because if the avengers get ahold of her it will be the end of mutants. Cable is from the future...a future where if the avengers get ahold of hope, then mutants are doomed. Maybe Cable forgot to tell Hope this...and Maybe that is why she turned traitor and fought against mutants...the very mutants who were fighting to protect her. But she definitely betrayed her father and the rest of her family.

He is also a mutant. mutants were a small family which needed to band together to protect themselves from their oppressors...people like the scarlet witch...who theoretically killed millions of mutants with her taking away their powers(that which makes them mutant)...she actually killed some mutants with that decision as well.-some flyers were flying when she took away their powers...some fire mutants were swimming in lava and so on.

About damn time! Loved her with the guns in Gillens run. Definitely will be fun to see her enter into battle with her father again
