Edit: never mind. My ranting is relevant only to the New Avengers. NOt the real Avengers team. Replying to posts before coffee is a poor choice.

Relevant to the thread: Shang-Chi gets my vote. Not technically new, but close enough. I'm also excited about Falcon being on the team, but he's not really new, either.

I'm most excited by Captain Universe, in part because I'm intrigued by what Hickman will do with the concept. Smasher's next on the list. I love that we're getting two new lady powerhouses.

I Voted Smasher as well. I read up on the Original Smasher and he has an interesting background, the International Extremist concept was a clever idea. Glad to See Marvel is taking what was a 1 time character idea it seemed and now making it New. I really like that, it is Original, but Familiar.
