Was Wonder Woman's original outfit indestructible?

I got the Wonder Woman chronicles number 3 and there is a scene in one of the stories where she is wearing her Diana Prince clothing when a bomb goes off in her desk. She jumps backward to ride out the blast but it shreds her regular clothing leaving on her costume. Was her costume always that tough?

Not sure about toughness but I'm certain there must be some invisible straps on her top.

I do like the idea of her thinking as her costume more of battle armor than a "costume". I guess if you look at it as armor, there should be some sort of indestructibility

I've never heard of it being indestructible but it would make sense that the Amazons have tougher clothing and armor since Action is a part of their
everyday lives.

Occasionally it would get ripped or otherwise ruined, when Artemis died in it as an example. If I am not mistaken both it and Diana were pretty mauled when Genocide took the lasso from her.

At least on the TV show it was indestructible.

Well that particular outfit wasn't covering much of her anyway.

But in the show it was specifically mentioned by her mother that the costume was indestructible. It also never seemed to get dirty :)

The germans in the first season made a bit mistake though, when John Saxon was curious about the bracelets he could have jsut taken the suit home to germany and analyzed it, getting the perfect material for battle armor.
