Pricing Plans on Comixology: DC vs. Marvel

I'm buying a lot of the New 52 on Comixology after the one-dollar price drop thirty days after release. That means that $3.99 books like Justice League and Action Comics are $2.99. I was looking at Marvel's back issues and it looks like all of their books go to $1.99 after a certain amount of time. Does anyone know if they have a policy, like six months, where all books drop to $1.99? It looks like even $3.99 books like Amazing Spider-Man and the Ultimates drop to that price point. I like it a lot better than the dollar off option!

I would also like to know that, I'm not going to pay $2.99 just to have the early issues of Justice League on my Galaxy Note.

My understanding is that DC drops their books by $1 after a month, and everything after that is one a case-by-case basis, with no set of rules that anyone is aware of (they may have some internally, but they haven't shared them).
My understanding is that Marvel is the same way, except they don't even have the guaranteed $1 after a month.

So I am not aware of any set pattern at which the books drop.

I've been waiting MONTHS for Marvel books to drop, but they never seem to. Oh we'll, I'm not a marvel guy anyway.

I buy DC and Image books same day. I wait a month for Valiant books to drop a buck.

DC's policy is $1 off a month after release. Marvel's price drops don't happen for a while.

As others have said DC does a $1 price drop after a month and Marvels don't drop for 6 months or more.
