Questions about the 2012 Spider-man film

Me and my friend just saw the movie a while ago.

I have some questions....

1.) Did Spider-man ever caught the man who killed Ben? I saw Spidey webbed a man outside Captain Stacey's police department. Was that him?

2.) Why all of sudden Conners is a good-hearted, caring man? He even saved Peter's life after foiling his plan. Moments ago, he was a madman out to turn everyone into monsters.

3.) Who was the mysterious guy at the end of the film?

1: No, he hasn't caught him yet, he went around NY trying to catch him but couldn't
2: Its the Lizard, its the effect it had on him.
3: That was Electro I think some say Norman osborn but, seeming as electo is confirmed for the second movie I highly think its electro.

As for #3. Not Electro. Electro is being played by Jamie Foxx in Amazing 2. That was a white dude in the prison cell. It's Norman Osborn.

By the way, you notice there are some similarities between the new film and the 2002 film such as the main villain hearing voices in his head? His evil side is telling him to do bad things. Uncle Ben fussing at Peter about beating up a bully reminds me of the first movie.

The identity of the man in the cell with Osborn has yet to be revealed. It's the type of thing that will come out in the sequel.

Connors saving Peter's life showed that he wasn't a monster, now that he was free of the Lizard's influence.

I'd argue that there were some seriously dark undercurrents to Connors even before his transformation; his work is essentially a cuddlier form of eugenics, and it's heavily implied that he's compliant in Richard Parker's death. The Lizard just amped this darker side up to eleven.
