Strangely fitting to me, considering my feeling that Marvel's mutant population is way too high. There are 2 reasons I don't like them: 1. They all have the same origin, which is no origin. Too easy on the writers. 2. No normal lives. All it would take would be a mask, and who's to say he or she isn't a regular superhero? But instead, Charles isolated them, enhancing their sense of being different and inhuman. It would have made a lot more sense to integrate them into high level positions, so if anything serious were going on he could do something about it.
Of course, the whole mutant conflict issue seems stupid to me. Why should anyone with half a brain freak out over an iceman while considering the human torch a celebrity?

Here's a crazy idea. Hank and Jan Pym and Scott and Cassie Lang. Four people accidently exposed to cosmic rays. Now Hank and Cassie can become giants, while Scott and Jan can shrink and control insects.
Makes as much sense as any other option.
