I always liked Tom DeFalco's idea of a next generation Fantastic Four, something Alan Davis also picked up on IIRC in his Fantastic Four: The end.

so I would have Valeria and Franklin, Kristoff and hopefully Johnny or Ben would have some offspring at one point. Kristoff I'm adding on because since Val calls his father "Uncle Doom", they're sort of like cousins.

Reed is the root of my problem with Fantastic Four. I dislike the way he treats people, and so I start disliking the people that put up with/condone what he does. This "blame" gets passed, in order, from Sue to Ben to Johnny. But Johnny fluctuates from a mild irritant (when he's too immature) to indifference.

So, my Fantastic begins with no Reed.

4. Lyja - best woman Johnny ever had, imo

I'm not particularly fond of the "Four" part of the group, either. I prefer teams of 6-9 members. Add:

5. She-Hulk (Jennifer Walters)
6. Franklin (who would officially be declared a teenager, if I were in control)

No Val. She's dead! DEAD I say! She was really just a figment of Franklin... his female side or physical manifestation of his refusal to grow up (explaining why she got so smart, while he stayed the same) or something.
