Looking great! So excited for this..

I find nothing truly objectionable in these pages. But I'm sure the narrative overflow we saw in the first lettered preview will mar that.

What can I say? Overwrought narration annoys me. And boy, was it overwrought last time (also it rubbed badly against basic logic and prior establishment of character)

Looks like this issue will at least in part be told from Cammi's POV. Looks like she and possibly Juston have bought into the premise early. But then again, with Darkhawk meeting her, it may mellow her out some and get her to calm down. Look like Darkhawk may (posisbky inadvertanly) be the rallying point for those resisting the game. An expected outcome.

Can't make any further deductions validly other than that, IMO.

I'm really loving Cammi here. I will be utterly shocked if she doesn't become the new Darkhawk. Guess being in space has hardened her into a shoot first, ask questions later character.

Honestly, the seeds of that were already firmly established when she first appeared ("Hey, i want the dead body of that alien." , "Hey, I own you now!", "Eh, so I watched my mom be killed brutally by alien monsters. Didn't like her much anyway.")

But yeah, even money's on her being a new Darkhawk. But does that mean the armor form will suddenly gain the body of a super model?

God I hope not.

Well, if it IS character driven like he claims, then that seems likely we'll get at least commentary on it. If not a full on Lost style flashback (another claimed inspiration).

The premise, the writer, the "execution''. But never the artist. Cover Artists too.

I first saw Walker's art on Thunderbolts. I knew I was looking at something special. I just wish he was on a book I could more readily support.

If anything, it just looks like the Sentinel being damaged (which is no big IMO with its self repair functions). I wouldn't worry about him to much yet. Not enough evidence to work from.

That said, I honestly doubt his survival chances overall. That makes me sad. Here's praying that he becomes an Omega Sentinel after 'dying' and the Sentinel obeys it's primary directive in an amazing way.

This is a great Idea.
I like how this book gives every character a chance to grow or to go out in a blaze of of glory.
