Are you kidding? I'm surprised Bruce hasn't gone broke with as many stories using Wayne money being stolen/embezeled/given away as gimmick. [Hush, Huntress, etc]

He isn't the only one who check on the family finances. Tim and Damien Keep a close check on it when Bruce sets up Wayne enterprise Projects. Huntress stole about a Million and Then Damien Just caught her, beat her and threw her into a Trash Can before Power Girl could come and save her.

Yeah, except for the part where he uses a multi-multi-multi-million dollar militaristic aircraft to effectively fly a radioactive bomb outside of the city.

I think cjP's answer here is the best.

How would he afford med school?

Would he, with that early record of studying everything but never completing anything officially, even be worth the risk to a school, especially in light of a sudden, and no doubt newsworthy loss of money?

LOL you know, he probably does have a secret back-up fortune. He keeps it in the same vault he stores his back-up Robins in.

    He'd become Daredevil.

Isn't the premise of Daredevil is that he's just Batman with a hell of a lot less money?

Daredevil ain't often broke. Dude frequently owns an entire brownstone in NYC tricked out with a private gym and such. And he's a successful high profile attorney.

He would make his money back. Right away. Dudes like that don't stay down. I don't mean determined super-heroes...I mean billionaires. The system is rigged in their favor.

    He might be...gasp...only a multi-millionaire for a couple years.

    Yup, pretty much.

Previously, it was established he had several wealthy alternative identities he could fall back on, should the need to do so ever arise.

He'd probably do what the Punisher does. Not the killing part, but seizing drug money occasionally to fund his activities.
Life looks better in black and white.
