I haven't read this issue, but I did like the one before this where Huntress and Damian collide. I thought their acceptance of each other was rather quick. But, it does make for an interesting twist that Damian is the first one to recognize her.
I'm read ing this one because I'm interested in Batman's daughter, so this was an interesting development for me. I agree that the story has been slow, but I've enjoyed the series overall. Maybe they need more one issue stories, to interperse between the "getting home" plot that is taking so long. How about giving them a mystery to solve, a case that can be wrapped up in one issue?
A lot of people get on the forums putting this series down, making me think it's headed for cancelation. I'd hate for the series to be over before much of the story is told. I hope the series picks up its' pace.

I'll point out that putting Damian and Kara together in a book has its precedents in Generation Lost, the future issues, where Kara was in charge and Damian filled the Batman role. And seemed to have at least some romantic tension going between them, though you could easily read it another way.
Obviously that's not going to happen here, but it is a historical note. For my money, Levitz needs to wrap up the who is sabotaging our return home story arc sooner rather than later, and physically allow them to go home. And he needs more interaction with the heavyweights of the DCU. And he needs stories that matter with bad guys who matter. And the ladies need to actually DO something heroic, something that isn't easy for them. They need something for us to gauge them to be heroes---some story that showcases them as such.

This is obviously all speculation on my part, but I wouldn't doubt editorial interference is keeping this book from moving forward. This is the likely bridge book between a JL/Earth 2 team-up. Maybe Levitz and co. can't do too much until the other books are ready for that.
I'm still enjoying this book, but I can definitely understand the frustration of those readers who say this series isn't going anywhere.
And, yes, let's please return PG to her old costume.
