Scott Harris started a thread on yellow covers. It's not so strange, but personally it was the nice green they used in the late 70s and early 80s that always really attracted me...

As a Spidey guy this one has always appealed to me
He didn't remember saying it, but for a long while colorists at Marvel were under the impression he had. There was a story about it in Marvel Age a few decades ago; that Master of Kung Fu was finally made green only because Jim Shooter told the colorist to stop worrying about Stan and just DO it. Shooter thought it unlikely that Stan would have been so categorical, so it was a case of an office legend given life. (And then people would say "gee, Stan doesn't know what he wants!)

Green is my favorite color.
It also happens to be the greatest color of them all.
I mean, would Superman's cape be green if it wasn't?
Naa-haa.
