Default The Future of Silver Banshee

Okay, so a few questions here that IŽve been mulling over. I know its kind of late to be posting this, but I just recently caught up on Supergirl up to issue #10. IŽve noticed that Green has taken an entirely new direction with Silver Banshee, who had originally been a straight up villain, and has turned her into a more heroic (or anti-heroic) character. At first, I was unsure of this because I liked her as a villain, but then I realized that I liked the concept of her more than I actually liked her character. IŽd only ever read maybe a handful of her appearances. So, its got me wondering. Hence, the questions below.

    A) What do you guys think about this new direction for Silver Banshee? Does it add to her character or does it detract from it?

    B) Do you think weŽll see Siobhan use her powers more? And, on that note, do you guys think sheŽll become one of the "metahuman community" or maybe tacked onto a superhero team at some point down the line? Basically, what do you think the future holds for her character?

I think they're going the tragic villain route with her. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

This version knows supergirls real name O: thats trouble!

I kinda think shes gonna go bad eventually. Or maybe be seperated from the curse to leave 2 characters, one more like the old version or something...

If you're only up to #10 I don't want to say too much, but they do indicate that she's not quite as in control of her powers as it appears. I really like the new direction for the character. I think any time a villain has some characterization beyond just "evil" is a good thing.
Be a fan of the creators, not the characters.

In my opinion, Siobhan is one of the villains who has benefitted the most from the reboot. I love her new direction and character.

I think she definitely will go bad at some point soon (but after H'el on Earth almost definitely), but the question is what happens after that? Does she pick up the pieces of her life and become a hero, or fall into darkness and become a fulltime villain?
