He's clearly talking about DeConnick replacing Bendis. Bagley is fine.

I agree, but the real reason for such an increase in quality was the writer change, IMO. Loved the way KSD wrote the team dynamics.

The newsrama link is very enjoyable...from this and reading Hickmans answers to questions...it seems like the team will be split up in three groups....should be a more logical reason why Hawkeye or even Black Widow are there...better reason than the movie or even robot chicken for that matter gave.
I cant wait for tomorrow. I know Hickman will not disappoint.

Jerome Opena has great work on UXF, but like I already mentioned in another thread I don't think his style fits for everything. His characters often take this sickly, insomniac, starvation-kicking-in death look. I don't hate it, but I'm not really feeling it on Avengers.

However, I absolutely look forward to whatever Hickman has planned. Can't wait to pick this up tmrw.

I hate that the reviewer was so hung up on readers coming in fresh off the movies. Most of the people reading this would've been reading it regardless of the movie.

I think I'll pick this up just so (The Heroes Reborn #1,The Heroes Return #1, and Heroic Age #1) I can have 4 'Avengers #1s'. I'll see if I'll pick up #2 later.

Not a fan of Hickman but lord knows its gotta be a step up from Bendis.
