He couldn't even stop Suraman from causing the avalanche. I hated the wizards in LOTR, they were way too weak!

They drive out these long epic speeches just to cast one single lightning bolt or to destroy a small bridge and they use weak looking tk to fight each other!

Magneto was far more impressive, shown levitating the jet and lifting up cars with ease.

I've heard he was more powerful in the books, but the movies didn't do a good job of portraying him as powerful but restrained. He flat out looked weak!
