Yep, and when you consider who he was legitimately threatening at the end of CD, the White Council shoud probably be s little more than terrified of Harry.

I'm not so sure about that. I could see him having a lot more empathy for Angel's situation due to having a brother who also is a vampire trying to be good. He also would have personal experience to appreciate Angel's attempts to fight the urges of his demon due to his own struggles against the temptation of black magic, his holding out against Lasciel when she was in his head and spoilers:end of spoilers.
his current resistance against the urges that come with the Mantle of Winter Knight
He definitely would try to keep Angel away from a relationship with Buffy though and would be willing to use both intimidation and guilt tripping to persuade him it would be a bad thing that would end in disaster.
This might not be a good idea simply because things like Naagloshii are among the weaker things in there and he has no way to control said entities so he'd probably wind up horribly killed if he released them.
Honestly Harry has enough power to make her wet herself even without the darkhallow. If a non-dark Willow can even cause her the slightest pain Harry would absolutely wreck her shit. She'd be wishing she could be permanently killed or that Harry would suffocate Ben in his sleep or something.Even if he did a spoilers:end of spoilers in the Buffy verse, he'd have enough power to make Glory wet herself.

Well I guess they could hire a professional hitman to snipe Harry from a distance. Even Harry has admitted this would most likely work just fine and that was before someone did it to him and it worked just fine..also you wouldn't have to worry about a death curse either. Then again there is no reason they'd know about the death curse unless Harry told them.
EDIT: Ok this is going to get a bit off topic but I don't know where else to ask this: I've recently been re-reading the series and I just finished "Blood Rites". At the end He Who Walks behind is summoned and possesses a chick and then..says something to Harry and then basically goes away. Why didn't he try to attack or otherwise do anything? Did I miss something?

Off Topic: Probably should have asked this in the book forum, but this is as I understand it. spoilers:end of spoilers
The ritual spell that summoned it was disrupted, and there was no required sacrifice before it could manifest fully in the mortal world. It had enough power to take out the woman, but had nothing to hold onto to keep it there. To fulfill the ritual, they needed a blood sacrifice. Harry and Karrin stopped it before that happened. The spell backfired, took out the woman, but that was it.

Nope. He Who Walks Behind specifically says that he's back before vanishing.
Not really the words that would be used if the summoning ritual had failed.Originally Posted by Blood Rite
