Good Lord, I LOATHE that costume.

At least Henry Cavill looks a bit more Supes-like in this poster, unlike the bank vault poster where he had the "Mafia Don" hair. I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised by this movie. Superman has all the elements needed to make a great film. There's no real excuse for them to botch it up.

Honestly, I think it's a bit of a dated look and in general I think it's one of those things that works better in the comic books than in live action. Yeah, the Chris Reeves movies had it, but it's not exactly noticeable and in some shots you cant even tell its there without giving it a second glance.

Yeah, to be honest, erasing someones memory intentionally feels a lot more out of character for Superman than (for example) running off to examine the remains of Krypton.

There was a lot of weird out of character moments in all the Superman movies for me.

I think if they didn't have a quality actor like Christopher Reeve the whole thing would have been a wash.

Yeah, that was something I realized after I got older and re-watched those movies. My immediate reaction was "wow, Reeve friggin carries this mess"

As a kid that was my impression or maybe i was just upset about all the weird changes they made.

I always thought his Clark Kent was interesting with how broad he played the obvious schtick especially compared to other actors who came later who played him as more normal dude.
