I have no problem with Milligan's answers, I just think they're astoundingly unenthusiastic and abridged. That's the way he is in all his interviews, and ditto Brian Azzarello.

Love both their work, so I don't care, just saying.

I love the bastard, Constantine, but think he'll be fine in the DCU. The main reason he was over in Vertigo was the CCA. With that gone, why not put him in the DCU ? Hell, he might even get his own (Constantine) title.

I just hope Milligan doesn't end the series with Constantine's death. So that later on, if DC decides, "Whoops," they can go back to having a Vertigo series that continues this character's rich history.

I give it 2 years....and if the New DCU Constantine title sizzles out , your gonna see a push likely from some creators to bring back the old Hellblazer.
