Excellent.Waiting to see revolutionary Scott not give a f**k about the O5.He has better s**t to do.
I am not an Avengers fan nor an X-Men fan.I am a Marvel fan for life.
Check out Gambit by James Asmus. You won't regret it!
Can't wait for Avengers fans to start frothing at the mouth when the MU starts loving Cyclops. We’re going to find out where he’s at in the Marvel Universe, what the fallout to him physically is because of the Phoenix Force, and what the public perception of him is, which is very different from what the Avengers and X-Men perception of him is.
Love this avengers and x men are going to be shock on the perception of cyclops
Cyclops is one of my favourite characters and it sounds as if Bendis has some interesting plans for the character, however I am in no way a fan of his writing style nor am I interested in the main plot(?) of the Old New X-Men. So sadly this will be a pass for me.
Not here though. We all get along just fine here on the X-boards.And everyone will see something different, and there will be those who argue online about it forever and ever.
This has me excited. I am cautiously optimistic reading Bendis' take on my favorite character but....so far, so good.Brian Michael Bendis: It’s exciting to come into a book with a character that is this out there as far as story goes. And I’m sure there are some people reading this that are going, "there is no way that you’re going to get him back to a character that is perceived as heroic by the other heroes." There’s no way there’s a road of redemption for this character. There is, and it’s not the one you think it is.
Top 10:Cyclops. Nightcrawler. Magik. Juggernaut (Cain Marko). Magneto. Hulk. Mr.Sinister. Emma Frost. Legion. Dr. Nemesis.
Agreed. That last paragraph really had me going "OOOH??"
And I found myself remarkably satisfied with his take on who/why Cyclops is a leader. That bit about how he keeps himself in check at all times, but he's got this passion/drive beneath the surface that proves stronger than most. I'm intrigued, now, on a whole other level.
Nicely done, Mr.Bendis.
My curiosity is piqued.

In Kieron Gillen I TrustKGB since 3/10/11
"Um, blah, blah, blah. And, Girl Power. Feminism, d'you know what I mean?"
I still don't get why Cyclops is so "dark and fallen" and in "in a position that is worse than any Marvel character has ever been". Is it because he killed Chuck? Or because he wrecked havok on Earth when he lost his control over Phoenix, thanks to Avengers?
Because I don't buy any of these options. Marvel has many heroes that did worse things, yet no one points finger at them (*cough* Scarlet Witch)
Say No to decompressed storytelling!
On the Kubert cover of Scott and the Chess board, can someone make out who all the chess pieces are?
