Yeah, I was talking about the pulp/noir characters that Dynamite is heavily pushing at the time being, no so much the ones who they seem to just publish and let sit. Let's face it, Tarzan, John Carter, and stuff like that isn't DE's main focus right now, its all about the fedora's and that's perfectly fine for me.

That's kind of a cool way of looking at it...

It's kind of odd that the "Stone Age of Comics" is referring to things (pulp magazines, old time radio, etc.) that aren't comics... I get the analogy, I'm just sayin'...

My dad got me these when I was young (and both are sitting on my desk even now). There began my life long love of the golden age and pulps.

I'm pretty sure that Black Beetle is published by Dark Horse. The Hardcover comes out in August so I wouldn't say soon.

So, after The Black Bat is released who do you guys think is going to be the next pulp character to get his/her own series from Dynamite? I'm guessing it's going to be either The Avenger or possibly Doc Savage, but if so I'm wondering if Dynamite will promote it along their current lineup of classic pulp characters of if they'll promote them separately since they're not really the same style characters they've been publishing all along.....? Hmmm....

I would love to see The Clock in his own mini or ongoing book.

As for the ongoing Zorro book, that has come to an end as has the Zorro Rides Again title. I wasn't into either.
