Should Marvel bring back Freedom Ring?

So, in 'Secret Invasion' Crusader is beaten nearly to death and, while wearing a reality altering ring, wishes things had ended differently and disappears.

Could the ring have changed things so that Freedom Ring lived, hence preventing the time line the gets Crusader beaten in Secret Invasion? And if so, do you think Marvel should do this, or has it just been too long for such a minor character?

I'd rather just get Crusader back to be honest. I liked the mini that introduced Freedom Ring BUT I found Crusader to be the far more interesting read once he decided to use the ring & I was a little saddened that Slott/Gage bumped him off during their Secret Invasion tie-ins & I'm hoping that he one day resurfaces somewhere.

I'm honestly a little surprised they haven't done that already. Even Robert Kirkman, FR's creator and instigator of his demise, has stated he regretted the decision to kill him off.
