If BOP is cancelled after #17, where can Batgirl go for a new team book?

I pick up BOP every week but I really wouldn't miss it if it was canceled.

(Or by "pick up BOP every week" do you mean you pick the book up every week, but then put it back down right away without reading it?)

Where else can Barbara Gordon be used in a team book seems like a valid question, even if BoP isn't in immediate danger of cancellation. Batgirl's not Oracle and the current BoP isn't the pre-Flashpoint BoP so the team-character fit between pre and post-Flashpoint canons certainly aren't the same.

Speculating about characters is fun for some people, even if there is no immediate need.

As the OP I've already stated the topic is moot & provided a link to the new writer for the book's thread. A mod could do us a service and just shut this one down.

However this is a good point as well, but I would think a somewhat separate subject than in relation specifically to BOP #17, as what I had postulated, and if reworded may be worthy of it's own thread. Overall I'm going to be onboard to BOP #18 to see what the new writer can give us, especially since he's stated that 1.) Dinah & Batgirl will be more at the center of the book again, and 2.) There will be more synergy between BOP and the Batgirl title, as Duane had been writing the character like two separate people between the books up to this point.
