That one Hope image is better than all X-Forces i've ever read.

If he hadn't 'died' so recently he;d be in Arena. As it is, he'll be back.
I like Hope, and her arguing with the various ideologues is her shtick much in the same way making enemies and being thought evil is Cable's, but she needs to change her name. It is distracting.
Where is that preview, I'm looking but not finding the source.
Cable will give her a spanking and she'll go running to her new daddy, Captain America. Her new mommy, the Scarlet Witch, can make her a nice cup of coco.
This thread is invalid. Hope's power is to be the over 9000 of whatever mutants are around her. She's the most powerful anything up until she passes out.
Sorry Brevoort, Alonso and Lowe, but Jean Grey is a classic character. She'll outlive you regardless. :)

Why this is gonna happen?
Thanks. That AiC was so comprised of puffery I somehow ragequit it when I saw a Hurricane Sandy question without noticing the lovely art.
Hotwire, I assume you'll find out why this happens in the first 4 issues of Cable and X-Force. Probably something to do with Cable being accused of some massacre or another, not seeking Hope out after leaving Utopia or a myriad of imagined slights.
I actually wouldn't mind someone new picking up the Stryfe mantle. Not Hope, but some powerful new mutant bad guy. I always liked Stryfe's visual look as a villain, but was never a big fan of him being a clone of Cable.
EDIT---A repowered and insane Nate Grey could be a solid candidate actually. Somehow I prefer the idea of a younger, alternate reality version of Cable as Stryfe to a straight-up clone.

Man, I hope Hope gets killed off soon. She's nothing but an annoying character. The constant talk of how special she was, was very annoying and it didnt amount to anything intersting. I dislike how overpowered she is written as and how unloyal to the x-men she was. Either kill her or make her an Avenger so she's not in the x-books.
Anything Cable would do against her would just come across as sour grapes, considering she succeeded where he did nothing but fail.

It would be a disservice to his intelligence. Cable in Sanction finds as evidence of betrayal in Avengers hq in the future the things he brought back with him to the past causing a future where he succeeded. Fighting Hope would show he learned nothing and will never respect her.
