I'm really sorry, but whenever I see a similar thread, I see it's started by DebkoX (no offense bro, I have nothing against you)
It's easier and quicker DebkoX if you try to find out by yourself getting some essentials (it's the way I did myself) instead of asking everyone questions like: your favorite x-men story, character, etc.

All I'm trying to do is find a big list with male mutants, almost every damn list has mostly females, and I'm looking for males.

Again, I'm sorry, but tell me honestly, are you satisfied with the answers? Every person will tell you only his/her favorites. Damn, it's hard for me to answer your question. If you're looking for obscure characters, try comicvine or marvunapp. There is 50 years of X-men. More than 200 titles, including mini-series, and specials. There are also many sites DEDICATED to cover the huge chronology, and character list.

    Default All New X Men

just curious, by the looks of issue 1, the cast is Cyclops, Iceman, Beast, Angel and Jean........but issue 2 has Wolverine etc.....who is exactly in the book, I miss the old Uncanny X crew and this looks like the band is back together.....help?

The main focus is the Original Five - Cyclops, Angel, Iceman, Beast, Marvel Girl - but the older "main" X-Men will be making appearances as well.

You got it all wrong. It's not Cyclops, Iceman, Beast, Angel and Jean, but Skrulls that survived the Secret Invasion trying to steal Jean Grey School from Wolverine. That's why in issue #2 Logan attacks them.

    Default X-Men/Ghost r

So I just reread a Ghost Rider/X-Men crossover from the early 90's called "Brood Trouble in the Big Easy", which is a favourite story of mine, and I realised that there's a character in it I don't remember seeing again, even though they vowed revenge at the end. I was simply wondering if it had in fact been continued somewhere, or one of those things that was forgotten about and will likely never get revisited (unless of course I ever get the chance to write Gambit, which I highly doubt as I've never even attempted to write a comic )

Struggling to find a picture on the Internet to post and not on a computer right now so an image will have to wait I'm afraid. But basically the character in question is this assassin guy that is entirely black, with red eyes and a red mouth.
Avengers Arena is one of the best books in the shops right now, it's seriously amazing.

What is the range of Cyclops' optic blasts? Is it more potent in close range? Please provide support or citation for your answer.

It looks like the plotline was forgotten.

His beams have an effective range of 2000 feet and they are more potent close up.
