Xavier wasn't even around at that point, so you can't really say it was his policy. Originally, Massachusetts Academy was a human school just being run secretly by a mutant.

To those who question there being no human teachers at the JGS, or Xavier school- Do remember that there are very few people near the place that aren't anti-mutant. ( and as for the human who applied when Kitty was looking for a replacement for Husk, Kitty probably figured a) by the way she emphasized she was human, she was probably anti-mutant herself. Even if she's not violent, you wouldn't want someone prejudiced in a school for the disabled, for instance. b) If you were interviewing somebody and they questioned your qualifications, would YOU hire them?

So I figure that while there are no human teachers at the JGS, I think it's more by accident than design. With the prejudice against mutants in the MU, it's hardly surprising.

It's only in retrospect that I realize she was one of the better characters in that crappy book. She spent every day terrified that some random superhero thing would do her in and Bendis decided to prove her right.
