The CW's Green Arrow-inspired drama "Arrow" has found its Slade Wilson, casting "Spartacus" actor Manu Bannett as the man under the mask of Deathstroke the Terminator.

Manu Bannett was pretty badass in Spartcaus: Blood and Sand, as well as Gods of the Arena. Good on him getting some comic book TV show highlights. I'm assuming it's going to be a limited role!

Not the actor I would have in mind for Deathstroke, but I second that he was badass in Spartacus. The casting could have been worse, though.

ANY Deathstroke on screen is good in my book. My favorite DC villian!
Comics still reading: Saga, Sixth Gun, Walking Dead, All New X-Men, Daredevil, Fury MAX. DC New 52 isn't the worth the paper its printed on...

It's kind of sad that they have to take villians from other franchises to give Ollie a rogue's gallery. And ad to the fact that they turned Ollie into a average intelligence version of Batman who kills is just adding insult to injury.

They didn't "turn Ollie" into anything. Comic book Ollie has never been any kind of genius and he's been killing people for years (pre-New52).

As for the bit about the show stealing villains from other franchises, I'm expecting Tommy Merlyn to turn any day now. And I thought Count Vertigo was confirmed? And now there's a rumor going around that Shado will appear as well.
